Today 25 June, 2020 Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has announced AHSEC Assam HS result 2020 at 8:50 am. The board declared the result 2020 for arts, commerce, and science at the same time. Around 2.4 lakh students enrolled them for this exam.  

Assam HS or class 12th exam 2020 was conducted from February 12 to March 14 at 772 examination centers in Assam. This year, the result was delayed due to the Covid-19 lockdown. According to the exam controller Pankaj Borthakur, the hard copy of the mark sheet and certificate of all students will be sent to schools within one week. 

Students need to score 30% of the total marks in subjects without a practical portion in order to pass the exam. For the subjects that have a separate theory and practical, students need to score a minimum of 30 marks in the theory paper (given the full marks is 100) and a minimum 40 in the practical component.



Here is the Assam HS Result 2020 

Streamwise toppers are –

Arts – Pubali Deka with 96.2% (481/500)
Commerce – Krishna Maheshwari with 94.2% (471/500)
Science – Abhinash Kalita with 97.2% (486/500)

Pass Percentage in Science Stream

A total of 88.06% of students have cleared the Science stream exam. Abhinash Kalita has topped from Science with 97.2%. A total of 39,574 students had sat in the exam.

 

Pass Percentage in Commerce Stream

A total of 88.18% of students have cleared the Commerce stream Assam Class 12 board exam successfully. A student named Krishna Maheshwari has topped from Commerce stream with 94.2%. A total of 17,713 students had sat in the exam.

 

Pass percentage in Arts Stream

A total of 78.28% of students have cleared the Arts stream Assam Class 12 board exam successfully. Pubali Deka and Shraddha Bogohain have topped from the Arts stream with 96.2% marks. As many as 1,68,367 students had appeared in the exam.

Students can check their result from the official website of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council Mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit that website.

Step 2: Fill your exam roll number and other details as provided on your hall ticket when asked.

Step 3: Verify and submit the details

Step 4: Your Assam HS Result 2020 scorecard will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Download softcopy for future reference

Get the result from SMS

Go to your new message section and type ASSAM12 and then put your roll number without entering any space. After this, send it to 56263. Now, wait for a few minutes. A new message will come into your phone and then by opening that message your result will be displayed.

However, AHSEC will also send Assam AHSEC result 2020 to respective schools in the form of a pdf file. So, any willing students can also get the result from their respective schools.

Assam HS Result 2020: How to apply for re-checking

Students who are not satisfied with their results can apply online for re-checking from June 27 at www.ahsec.nic.in by submitting the necessary fees.
